As we grow up...
Today, we gathered at changi airport to send jody off. She is emigrating to Canada permanently. She is quite a good chinese friend of mine who cannot speaks mandrian. And, as she used to be quite tanned, I mistaken her as a Malay. hahas.
Had great laughter w her during the guitar times. Slacking and strumming many pieces of pop songs. Struggling and fighting through our SYF 6 part bach piece. Tons of memories of her flashed on my mind. I am quite sure I am going to miss her. BUT, I feel gulity that recent years I have not been contacting her. yup, she is busy with her life and I am too. However, I thought some efforts can be make to have a simple dinner.
I remembered Junyun cried as she approached jody. She was late and was so afraid that she cannot make it in time to bid farewell to Jody. Somehow, the sight of her anixety gave my heart a squeeze. I thought of when was the last time I have tried to make an effort to contact my friends. I guess it had been awhile.
Then, Jody comforted Junyun by saying that she had stopped crying as she had been crying for the past few days. It's really hard to say goodbye, isn't it? To leave your loved ones behind and move on to a foreign country. It takes a lot of courage to do so.
After sending Jody off, edwin commented he knew this day will come sooner or later. He knew of her plan since JC. He sent her off with a big smile on the face and full of blessings in his heart.
ps: it's time to RE CONNECT with my friends.
